About the Role
As a Year 2 Teacher, you’ll take responsibility for creating a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their potential.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging Year 2 lessons
- Following the KS1 National Curriculum
- Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
- Differentiating lessons to meet a range of learning needs
- Assessing and tracking pupil progress
- Working closely with teaching assistants and support staff
- Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
- Creating a calm, safe and stimulating classroom environment
- Encouraging confidence, independence and positive behaviour
? What We’re Looking For
We’re keen to hear from teachers who are:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent
- Experienced teaching within KS1 / Year 2
- Confident delivering the Primary National Curriculum
- Able to plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons
- Strong classroom management skills
- Passionate about helping children learn and develop
- Reliable, organised and adaptable
- A positive team player who enjoys working collaboratively
