Year 5 Teacher Required for Primary School in Bracknell

About the role:

At Engage Education, we are currently looking for an ambitious and creative Year 5 Class Teacher for a welcoming Primary School in Bracknell. This full-time role is to start from October 2025.

The school has curated an enthusiastic team and places a strong emphasis on the academic and personal development of both teachers and pupils.

If you have a proven track record of raising attainment and the ability to inspire a love of learning in Key Stage 2, we’d love to hear from you.

The ideal candidate has:

  • Full QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Recent experience teaching Upper Key Stage 2 (Year 5 or Year 6 preferred)
  • Confidence in delivering engaging lessons across the Year 5 curriculum, including preparation for end-of-year assessments
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum and strategies for developing reading comprehension and mathematical reasoning
  • Great behaviour management skills and the ability to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • The ability to differentiate and adapt lessons to meet the needs of mixed-ability learners
  • Creativity and enthusiasm to bring topics to life, making learning both challenging and enjoyable
