Primary Teaching Assistant – Rainham, East London
Pay: £13-14.60 per hour (32.5-hour weeks)
Contract: Temporary / Long-Term
We are seeking a caring and proactive Primary Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Rainham. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference, supporting pupils to achieve their potential in a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs
- Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning activities and interventions
- Contribute to a calm, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Support pupils\’ social, emotional, and communication development
Candidate requirements
- Experience supporting children in a school or childcare setting, preferably with SEN
- Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification preferred
- Patient, empathetic, and able to build strong relationships with pupils
- Confident team player committed to supporting pupil progress
