The predicted salary is between 23000 - 30000 £ per year.

We are currently supporting one of our partner schools with the appointment of a Sixth Form Study Area Manager to lead their Sixth Form, which opened its doors 3 years ago. You will work under the Head of Sixth Form to create a welcoming, supportive learning space for A-Level students.

Core responsibilities and duties include:

  • To champion and model at all times the school’s core ethos of positive behaviour management.
  • To supervise the Sixth Form Independent Study Area.
  • To co-ordinate and manage administration pertaining to the Sixth Form Independent Study Area.
  • To maintain appropriate standards of behaviour in the room in accordance with school policy.
  • To provide half termly statistical reports and analysis to the Head of Sixth Form on behaviour and attendance in the room.
  • To liaise with Heads of Departments to curate a resource library for students within the room.
  • To ensure consistent subject specific resource displays.
  • To communicate set work to students and offer help and guidance as required.
  • To provide additional pastoral and administrative support to the Heads of Year when required.

About you:

  • Previous experience in an administration position within a busy secondary school, ideally within a school 6th form.
  • Experience using SIMS.
  • Ability to support pupils with their learning and answer any questions they might have.
  • Experience creating and delivering reports on behaviour and attendance.
