Job Description

SEND FE LSA – South East London (Bromley, Greenwich, Bexley, Lambeth)

At Engage, we understand that inclusive, high-quality education starts with great support staff. We've developed strong partnerships with FE colleges across South East London, and we’re expanding our pool of SEND Learning Support Assistants to support learners with a range of additional needs. We have multiple positions available for immediate and September starts.

About the role:

  • Market-leading daily rates

  • Term-time, full-time and part-time positions available

  • Support learners with EHCPs and complex needs in FE settings

  • Work 1:1 and in small groups to facilitate learning and independence

  • Support access to curriculum content, enrichment activities, and wider college life

  • Personal care support required for some learners

  • Contribute to learner progress tracking and personal development

  • 21,778 – 22,423 (TERM TIME) – £25527 to £26283 FTE

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with learners with SEND

  • Comfortable providing personal care where necessary

  • Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to support students working independently or in groups

  • A valid enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
