We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Colchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to the learning and development of pupils with additional needs.
What you will be doing:
- Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups to access the curriculum
- Assisting teachers with differentiated learning activities and interventions
- Helping create an inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive
- Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs as part of a structured SEN programme
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN in a school or educational setting
- Level 2 or 3 TA qualification preferred
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
