SEN Teaching Assistant/ High Level Teaching Assistant HLTA Apprenticeship - Alternative Provision

Whether you have recently left university or are looking for a career change, a Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant apprenticeship with a Level 4 HLTA status combined qualification is the perfect opportunity to learn whilst working in an exciting and engaging environment. About the role:

  • This teaching assistant role is based in an ambitious and thriving alternative provision SEN school in Bradford, BD10. They are looking to recruit an enthusiastic apprentice for the role starting in September 2025.
  • You will be providing additional support to pupils in the classroom to help raise the levels of attainment.
  • Assisting in the delivery of effective teaching on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, leading to teaching whole classes as a HLTA.
  • Helping with the planning and delivery of lessons.
  • Supporting pupils with their educational and behavioural development.
  • Preparing classroom resources.
  • Providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Helping with extracurricular activities (e.g. revision sessions).

The ideal candidate:
