At Engage, we know that a school runs on quality support staff. We have spent over a decade building strong relationships with schools in Wakefield and we are now looking to increase our pool of SEN Teaching Assistants we can offer to these great schools. We have a variety of support positions available, to start immediately. This would be to work in a resourced provision which is based at a mainstream primary school. The children will be a mixture of KS1 and KS2 pupils and will have various different needs as it is more based on ability.
The students have the following learning needs:
- MLD
- Autism
- ADHD
- Behaviour issues
It is also advantageous if the candidate has experience with sensory-based learning.
About the role:
- Earn up to £500 per week
- Full-time positions available
- Small group work and intervention support responsibilities
- 1:1 support for special needs and lower-ability pupils
- Supporting students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Specific Learning Difficulties, EBD and SEMH
- Supporting students with challenging behaviour
