We’re currently seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Leeds. With increasing demand for classroom support, we have a variety of exciting opportunities available throughout the area.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain engaged with the work set. Your main goal will be to maintain a positive, focused learning environment while managing classroom behaviour effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising students and ensuring completion of set work
  • Managing behaviour and promoting a productive classroom atmosphere
  • Supporting students with queries related to their tasks
  • Adhering to school policies on behaviour and safeguarding
  • Collecting and returning completed work to the relevant department
  • Providing feedback on lesson outcomes and student engagement

We’re looking for individuals who are:

  • Flexible, proactive, and keen to support both students and staff
  • Experienced in a Cover Supervisor role in UK schools (preferred)
  • Confident in managing classroom behaviour and fostering a respectful learning environment
