ENG Bauen is seeking an accomplished Senior Site Planner to join a leading engineering organisation delivering one of Europe’s most complex and high-profile energy infrastructure projects. This position offers the opportunity to play a critical role in shaping the planning and execution of a major capital development central to the UK’s energy transition.

As part of an integrated project delivery team, you will lead the development, coordination, and implementation of site-based planning systems, ensuring that all construction and mechanical works are delivered to schedule. Working closely with project, engineering, and construction management, you will drive performance, forecast accuracy, and alignment between disciplines ensuring real-time visibility of progress and change control.

This is a strategic position requiring precision, leadership, and proactive management of planning activities within a live construction environment for a multi-billion pound project.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed construction schedules for mechanical and multi-discipline works.
• Coordinate planning activities across engineering, procurement, and site execution teams.
• Lead schedule integration and progress tracking using Primavera P6 and associated systems.
• Ensure alignment of project milestones, critical path analysis, and forecast accuracy.
• Drive planning governance, reporting, and risk management to support decision-making.
• Interface with site leadership, ensuring schedule adherence and visibility of key deliverables.
• Support project readiness, handover planning, and progress reviews at all levels.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Senior Planner / Site Planner on large-scale EPC or infrastructure projects.
• Proven background in mechanical works, with exposure to civil or electrical packages advantageous.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and integrated project control systems.
• Strong capability in change control, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Experience working within complex, regulated environments such as nuclear, energy, or heavy industry.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
• Current SC clearance or eligibility to obtain it.
