ENG Bauen is proud to be partnering with a prominent global EPC, which is expanding its multidisciplinary engineering teams to support a range of pioneering projects across the Energy sector. These projects will play a vital role in driving the economic growth of the UK in 2025 and beyond.
As a Software Engineer in this exciting position, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of modules and project solutions as part of a major nuclear decommissioning project. Working alongside your team, you will ensure the timely and successful delivery of engineering objectives, helping to achieve operational readiness for the project.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Software Engineer with a background in Nuclear, Oil & Gas, or Petrochemical industries who is eager to contribute to a high-profile project with long-term impact. Your role will be critical in ensuring that the project runs smoothly and is delivered to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
The role
- Delivering project modules, ensuring quality, and managing risks.
- Experience with Siemens S7 PLCs and WinCC SCADA.
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field, with Incorporated Engineer status (or working towards).
- Provide technical leadership to junior engineers and support project risk management efforts.
The person:
- Experience with Siemens S7 PLCs and WinCC SCADA systems.
- Skilled in system specification, design, development, and testing in industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of control panels, electrical installation, and instrumentation (nuclear/energy sectors preferred).
- Involved in the full software development lifecycle
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field; Incorporated Engineer status desirable.
- SC Clearance is preferable
