- Review, cleanse and analyse equity and derivatives data
- Map equity tickers and resolve instrument or reference-data discrepancies
- Configure, monitor and improve automated service processes
- Investigate data-quality issues and implement appropriate resolutions
- Respond to client queries concerning valuations, pricing inputs and methodologies
- Analyse and resolve price challenges
- Manage regular client meetings and develop ownership of key client relationships over time
- Work with developers to specify, test and implement system enhancements
- Contribute to the design and launch of new products and services
- Monitor relevant regulatory, accounting and market developments
- Ensure valuation services remain aligned with current industry practice
- Help shape the equities product strategy, with a view to eventually leading the business area

- Professional experience within an investment bank, ideally in a Valuation Control Group, Product Control, IPV or closely related function
- Approximately three to five years’ relevant banking experience
- At least two years’ experience covering equities or equity derivatives
- Strong knowledge of exchange-traded and OTC derivative products, including swaps, options and futures
- Understanding of exotic equity derivatives
- Experience with valuation data, pricing inputs and instrument reference data
- Sound understanding of accounting standards, valuation practices and banking regulations relating to IPV
- Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate confidently with trading, Middle Office, valuation control and other stakeholders at major financial institutions
- Hands-on approach and ambition to develop into a product and business leadership role
- Nice to have: Python, VBA or other programming and automation skills, experience of the software development lifecycle, a second language such as French
