Amazon’s Carbon Planning & Analysis team connects carbon science with financial planning across WW Operations. The team manages carbon intensity reporting, planning, and data integrity across multiple regions and business units, supporting Amazon’s Climate Pledge commitment to reach net zero by 2040.
Задачи:
- Support EU and ROW carbon month-end close, ensuring carbon ledger data quality and timely resolution of carbonation and data quality issues
- Maintain and improve EU/ROW carbon reporting and planning data structures within the data cluster and Carbon Reporting Deck
- Partner with regional sustainability, BI, and BU Finance teams across functions and countries to consolidate data requests, validate submissions, and resolve discrepancies
- Support EU/ROW carbon planning cycles, ensuring carbon drivers are accurately captured and aligned with the broader financial plan
- Investigate data quality and reporting challenges, identify root causes, and propose process or automation improvements
- Support the transition toward an AI-native reporting and planning model, including GenAI-powered variance commentary and automated data quality checks
- Assist with variance commentary and metrics tables for leadership reporting under the guidance of a senior team member
- Escalate data quality, timeline, and stakeholder risks and partner with the senior team member on resolution
- Build subject-matter expertise in carbon data systems and regional carbon drivers to grow scope over time
Требования:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or experience in relevant finance roles
- Fluent English in speaking, writing, and reading
- Experience in forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and interpreting financial results
- Experience using financial models, KPIs, and data analysis to support business decisions
- Nice to have: advanced Excel functions including pivot tables, macros, VBA, and Power Query
- experience with Power BI, Python, SQL, and Tableau
