Задачи
- Provide technical guidance and direction to business and technical teams, contractors, and vendors;
- Develop secure and high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others;
- Drive decisions influencing product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes;
- Serve as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more focus areas;
- Contribute to the engineering community by advocating firmwide frameworks, tools, and Software Development Life Cycle practices;
- Influence peers and project decision-makers to consider leading-edge technologies;
- Contribute to a diverse, inclusive, respectful, and opportunity-focused team culture;
- Coordinate DevOps and integration release management activities;
- Monitor and manage plant capacity and reporting;
- Manage the Continuous Integration environment;
- Provide third-level production support;
- Support latency-sensitive Electronic Trading, Data Analytics, and Quant environments;
- Design, develop, and maintain automated tools for toil reduction and reporting using Python and other scripting languages.
Требования
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability;
- Advanced knowledge of one or more programming languages;
- Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes, with in-depth knowledge of one or more technical disciplines;
- Ability to solve design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight;
- Experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field;
- Understanding of Linux OS architecture and fluent command-line usage;
- Fluency in Perl or Python, UNIX scripting, and Java;
- Experience building and running cloud-native applications using microservices, containers, and dynamic orchestration;
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD technologies such as Jules and Jenkins;
- Experience with release management tools;
- Nice to have: AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform.
