About The Role
Stores Person – Parc Adfer, Deeside
enfinium is one of the UK’s leading energy‑from‑waste operators, helping drive the transition to a Net Zero economy. Across our six decarbonisation hubs, we take waste that would otherwise go to landfill and turn it into homegrown, sustainable energy.
One of these hubs is Parc Adfer, our facility in North Wales. Parc Adfer plays a key role in supporting the region’s sustainability ambitions by diverting non‑recyclable waste from landfill and converting it into reliable, low‑carbon energy for local homes and businesses. It also serves as an essential partner to the North Wales Residual Waste Treatment Project, helping councils reduce environmental impact and increase resource efficiency.
About the role
As our Stores Person, you will play a vital role in keeping the plant running smoothly. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and organising the site store, ensuring materials, tools, and safety equipment are always available, properly recorded, and ready for use. Your work will support safe operations, minimise downtime, and keep the site functioning efficiently.
What you’ll be doing
- Ordering goods, services, and hire equipment through the correct procurement process, including national and international logistics
- Managing from end to end: receiving, inspecting, returning, unloading, shelving, pricing, delivering, and maintaining perpetual stock records
- Ensuring goods and equipment are stored in an organised, safe, and easily identifiable manner
- Carrying out monthly stocktakes and updating the CMMS system
- Procuring approved items and ensuring best‑value pricing
- Safely operating forklifts and other mechanical equipment around the warehouse and site
- Upholding high standards of Health & Safety and Quality at all times
- Operating office and inventory management systems
- Managing pooled equipment and supporting wider site needs as required
Criteria
- Counterbalance and reach forklift truck operator licence (Desirable)
- Strong PC literacy, particularly Microsoft Office
- Experience using CMMS systems such as Tabware or SAP (Desirable)
