Leeds/Nationwide | Engineering Graduates | Ready to make an impact?

We’re making a big impact in our industry—and we want to make a big impact on you. At enfinium, we’re transforming one of the UK’s biggest environmental challenges into a cleaner, more sustainable future. Every day, we convert unrecyclable waste into reliable, homegrown energy—powering homes, businesses and communities while keeping waste out of landfill. Now, we’re looking for the next generation of engineers to help us go even further.

Our 2-year Graduate Engineering Programme is designed to give you an in depth, hands‑on understanding of the business, setting you up for a long‑term career in engineering and beyond. An intensive induction will lead to rotation across key areas of our business:

  • Operations – Work alongside plant teams to understand the full energy‑from‑waste process—from waste intake to power generation
  • Maintenance – Gain hands‑on experience in asset reliability and maintenance
  • Core Functions – See the bigger picture by learning how commercial, fuel supply and strategy shape performance and building stakeholder and business awareness skills
  • Leadership skills – Leadership and management development programmes throughout. We are creating our leaders of the future

Your end goal is a central engineering role within our business, with the flexibility to choose your future specialism.

We’re seeking graduates with degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Control and Instrumentation, Process or Chemical Engineering. You will be based at one of our plants in Leeds or the Midlands but must be prepared to experience our whole organisation across the country.

You must be genuinely excited about shaping a more sustainable future through engineering innovation and see challenges not as obstacles, but as opportunities to make a real difference. You’ll thrive here if you’re eager to step beyond theory and immerse yourself in a hands‑on, real‑world engineering environment, where ideas are tested, refined, and brought to life. Curiosity and initiative are key: we value individuals who take a proactive, problem‑solving approach and are keen to contribute from day one.

This is a place for those who are motivated to learn, take ownership of their work, and grow quickly within a supportive but demanding setting. Above all, you’ll need a strong commitment to safety and an appreciation for teamwork.

We’re not just offering a graduate role—we’re offering a career with real impact.
