As a DevOps & Integrations Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing and supporting the tools, platforms, and integrations that enable our Technology teams to deliver secure, reliable, and efficient services. Here's what you can expect in this exciting role:
- CI/CD & Automation: You'll design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions, ensuring software and infrastructure can be delivered consistently and reliably. You'll develop Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools such as Terraform and Bicep, while creating automation scripts in PowerShell, Bash, and Python to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
- Platform Engineering & Integrations: You'll design and support integrations between cloud platforms, enterprise applications, SaaS solutions, and on-premises systems. Working with APIs, middleware, and integration platforms, you'll ensure reliable data flows and service connectivity across the organisation. You'll also contribute to the development of internal platforms, shared tooling, and reusable automation frameworks.
- Cloud & Infrastructure Operations: You'll help manage and optimise our Azure and Microsoft 365 environments, supporting resource configuration, lifecycle management, monitoring, and performance optimisation. Working across cloud and hybrid infrastructure, you'll contribute to observability, capacity planning, and the ongoing evolution of our technology platforms.
- DevSecOps & Cybersecurity: You'll embed security throughout the development and deployment lifecycle, incorporating vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and compliance checks into automation pipelines. Working closely with cybersecurity colleagues, you'll help ensure our platforms align with security standards and regulatory requirements while supporting audit and governance activities.
- Service Operations & Reliability: You'll contribute to Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes, helping diagnose and resolve issues affecting automation and integration services. Through root cause analysis, documentation, and continual improvement initiatives, you'll help enhance platform stability, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation: You'll champion modern engineering practices, identifying opportunities to automate repetitive tasks, improve developer experiences, and optimise technology delivery. You'll stay up to date with emerging technologies, including AI-powered automation, cloud-native tooling, and platform engineering best practices, helping drive innovation across the Technology function.
An experienced DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Integration professional with a passion for automation and continuous improvement. You'll have hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform or Bicep, and scripting languages including PowerShell, Bash, or Python. You’ll bring strong experience working within Azure and Microsoft 365 environments, alongside a solid understanding of APIs, integration patterns, cloud services, and enterprise platforms. Experience with Azure API Management, Logic Apps, Power Automate, container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and monitoring platforms would be highly advantageous.
You’ll be a collaborative problem‑solver with excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively across infrastructure, application, and cybersecurity teams. A proactive approach, strong technical curiosity, and a commitment to quality, security, and operational excellence will be key to success in this role.
