Join our team on a 12 month placement as an Agile Delivery & Continuous Improvement Manager and play a pivotal role in transforming the way our Technology teams deliver value. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the implementation of a unified Agile delivery framework, bringing consistency, visibility, and continuous improvement across our Technology function. Working closely with senior leaders and teams across Infrastructure, Applications, Data, Architecture, and Governance, you'll help embed sustainable ways of working that drive efficiency, collaboration, and successful delivery. What will you be doing? As our Agile Delivery & Continuous Improvement Manager, you'll be responsible for establishing and embedding a common delivery framework that enables Technology teams to work more effectively and consistently. Here's what you can expect in this exciting role:
- Technology Delivery Framework: You'll design, implement, and embed a common Agile delivery framework across the Technology function. Working with leaders and teams, you'll establish consistent planning, prioritisation, governance, and delivery practices while coaching colleagues in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Lean methodologies.
- Tooling & Process Standardisation: You'll lead the implementation and adoption of a common Technology work management platform, consolidating projects, operational activities, and improvement initiatives into a single portfolio view. You'll create standard workflows, templates, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms that improve efficiency and visibility.
- Portfolio Visibility & Prioritisation: You'll create and maintain a unified Technology portfolio backlog, ensuring work is prioritised against business outcomes. Through effective planning, capacity management, and reporting, you'll provide leadership with clear insight into demand, risks, delivery progress, and team capacity.
- Continuous Improvement: You'll champion a culture of continuous improvement across Technology teams. By facilitating retrospectives, identifying bottlenecks, and using performance metrics to drive change, you'll help improve delivery effectiveness, increase collaboration, and reduce waste.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management: You'll build strong relationships across Technology and business teams, facilitating workshops, planning sessions, and improvement initiatives. You'll communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations clearly while supporting the successful adoption of new ways of working.
- Capability Building: A key focus of the role will be developing internal capability and ensuring new processes, tools, and frameworks become embedded and sustainable beyond the duration of the contract.
What are we looking for? An experienced Agile delivery professional with a proven track record of implementing Agile frameworks within Technology organisations. You'll bring strong practical experience of Scrum, Kanban, and Lean methodologies, alongside expertise in Agile tooling such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms. You’ll be an excellent communicator and facilitator, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels and driving meaningful organisational change. Experience establishing delivery metrics, dashboards, reporting frameworks, and continuous improvement programmes will be essential. Experience working within Infrastructure, Applications, Technology Operations, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or highly regulated environments would be advantageous, as would Agile certifications such as CSM, PSM, or SAFe.
