Enfield Local Authority SEN Service is looking for a SEND Impact Advisor to work with Further Education settings, for the next 12 months. The job holder will work collaboratively with FE settings to audit EHCPs to ensure sections E & F are delivered, review EHCP funding for provision, support with writing EHCP outcomes and provide support / guidance for delivering SEND provision. The job holder will be line managed by the DBV programme manager. This is an exciting time to join the team, that is also working on the Change Programme, which is the legislation that supports the improvement plan for the SEND Green Paper.

We are looking for a candidate with negotiation skills to work with the SEND Partnership colleagues, including, education, health and social care. You will need to be a shaper and influencer and someone who is keen to get the job done in an innovative and positive way. Candidates should be passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people within the borough, innovative and highly motivated to support and effect change and have evidenced based practice of high-quality co-production.

Candidates will need up to date knowledge and experience of SEND legislation and processes and an understanding of data development.
