You are a dedicated social worker with a strong commitment to safeguarding children and supporting families. You are motivated to make a difference and show care in your community. As an ideal candidate, you possess a degree in Social Work and are registered with Social Work England. You have extensive knowledge of child development and relevant legislation, with proven experience in child protection or long-term teams.

As a Social Worker within the Children and Family Services, you will conduct assessments and provide social work services according to statutory duties. You will ensure that the most vulnerable children are safeguarded, and leverage the latest research to guide interventions. Participation in duty teams or rotas completes contacts, referrals, and Section 47 enquiries, and involves undertaking child and family assessments. You will also manage care proceedings and represent the Local Authority at court, working collaboratively with various professionals and partners to deliver best outcomes for children and families.
