Overview
We are looking for a Projects and Improvement Manager to join the Policy, Project and Improvement team. You will be expected to work across the Council, engaging with individual colleagues, teams, elected members, residents and other stakeholders to support the effective delivery of the Council Plan priorities.
As part of this role, you will be expected:
- Plan, manage and deliver a range of complex and strategically important projects.
- Work across the Council with relevant project sponsors, delivering agreed project outcomes and allocating resources within agreed budgets, while ensuring a consistent corporate approach.
- Monitor and provide regular project progress updates to Council, Cabinet, Scrutiny Panels, Executive Management Team, Directorate Management Teams and other managers and staff across the organisation.
- Provide guidance and challenge to individual project sponsors on the most effective approaches to project delivery, as well as insight on best practice and innovative ideas for transitional and post-implementation service delivery.
This is a permanent full-time appointment, primarily based at Enfield Civic Centre, London EN1. Flexible working requests will be given consideration.
