Working as part of the Planning Decisions Team you will lead a range of development schemes, maintaining and improving planning performance and providing an excellent customer experience. You will handle a variety of planning applications, including industrial, retail, business, residential, green belt and heritage, reflecting the diverse composition and varied development opportunities the borough offers. An understanding of development management and associated planning legislation will be essential, and further training opportunities will be available to enhance your skills and experience. You will demonstrate excellent customer focus and confidence in dealing with applicants, agents, councillors and residents.
