This role leads resident engagement and communications for the Joyce & Snell’s estate regeneration scheme, while supporting engagement across other estate renewal projects. You’ll deliver our engagement strategy—built on the pillars of Safe and Secure, Thriving Communities; Quality Services and Housing Options; and New Homes, Facilities and Spaces—so that residents are informed, involved and able to influence decisions.

A key part of your work will be building and developing strong partnerships—both nurturing existing relationships and forging new ones—with residents, community groups, council teams, and external partners. Day‑to‑day, you’ll coordinate planned consultation, manage on‑estate and digital engagement activities, produce clear resident‑facing materials, and track the impact of engagement to guide programme decisions.

At Enfield Council, our estate regeneration programmes, including Joyce & Snell’s, are not just about new homes—they’re about creating vibrant, inclusive communities where people can thrive for generations to come. We are committed to making these schemes a reality, and our work is pivotal in shaping the future of the borough. By working collaboratively across services, with residents and partners, we ensure that every project is driven by our residents' voices, high standards, and a shared vision for lasting positive change.

You are an experienced engagement or communications professional who thrives on building trust and fostering collaboration. With a proven record of leading community engagement that delivers positive outcomes, you communicate clearly and confidently with people from all backgrounds, residents, council Members and both internal and external partners. Your stakeholder management and project coordination skills help you juggle multiple priorities, while your analytical approach ensures engagement data genuinely shapes decisions. You understand estate regeneration, including decant and rebuild processes, and the choices and challenges residents face. Above all, you bring flexibility, empathy and a willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends so every voice is heard.

You’ll join a warm, welcoming team where shared experience, learning and supporting each other are central to how we work. We will encourage you to shape best practice—actively scanning, sharing and adopting best practices—to strengthen our resident engagement and continually improve how we inform, involve and empower communities. This is a genuine opportunity to make a visible difference on one of Enfield's ambitious regeneration programmes, with cross‑Council collaboration, supportive leadership and a culture that values inclusion and transparency.

Please note, interviews are due to take place week commencing 16th March 2026.
