Who You Are You are a knowledgeable professional with a strong background in domestic gas servicing, repair, and heating systems. As a proactive team player, you provide technical advice and have the ability to audit and inspect domestic gas servicing projects. You have the qualifications necessary to engage in feasibility studies and support investment and innovation programs. You are committed to maintaining and enhancing your professional qualifications and have a vehicle for travel within the borough. What the Job Involves The job involves providing technical oversight and quality assurance for the Council\’s domestic gas servicing and heating programs. This includes fulfilling audit and inspection tasks to validate and monitor the quality of gas repair and installation across the housing portfolio. You will offer technical advice concerning boilers, heating systems, and associated equipment, conducting surveys to create feasibility studies and business cases. As Contract Administrator for smaller projects, you will manage works under £50,000 in value, ensuring O&M information is reviewed and updated for comprehensive maintenance programs. You will work under the supervision of the Head of Compliance and M&E, liaising with Compliance Officers to maintain rigorous standards.
