Contract: Fixed Term / Secondment, 29 hrs per week, contract ends 01/05/2027.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for visitors in person, by phone or email, offering a warm and inclusive welcome and providing clear, accurate information.
- Support the reception area, events, hires and gift shop (both in‑person and online).
- Lead guided tours of the Hall, focusing on heritage and venue hire opportunities.
- Monitor the site, support maintenance tasks and liaise with contractors as required.
- Supervise casual staff and volunteers during shifts.
- Collaborate with the wider team to enhance visitor experience, grow audiences and support commercial use of the venue.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential: Experience delivering exceptional visitor and customer service within a heritage, arts or cultural venue. No consideration without this experience.
Role details:
29 hrs per week, Thursday to Sunday, including regular weekend, evening and Bank Holiday work. No additional overtime payment, TOIL may be arranged.
