The Forty Hall Deputy Supervisor provides operational and event management within Forty Hall, a busy heritage and cultural venue, working with a small dedicated and enthusiastic team. Based at Forty Hall Estate, Enfield, EN2 9HA. The advertised salary is for full-time work; the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong track record of delivering exceptional visitor and customer experience within a heritage or cultural venue. You will be customer focused and efficient with an eye to detail and a desire to serve the customer. You will have excellent IT booking skills and be comfortable undertaking manual tasks including room set-up and emergency cleaning tasks. The post requires a commitment to meet income targets through the hire of the building. The year-round programme includes weddings, conferences, community festivals, concerts, workshops and schools sessions. You will work to ensure the smooth running of our programme of events and day-to-day activities. This role requires a can-do approach and a passion for heritage and events.

Contract details:

  • Hours: 21.6 per week, Friday – Sunday (Includes regular weekend, evening and Bank Holiday work)
  • Overtime: No additional payment; Time Off in Lieu (TOIL) can be arranged

Requirements:

Yes, you must have extensive experience in Heritage, Arts or Cultural Venues. Applicants without this experience will not be considered for this position.
