Enfield Council’s Mental Health Enablement Service works closely with people who have severe and enduring mental health support needs to improve their ability to live independently and participate in the community, enhancing quality of life and well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 short-term intensive support in clients’ homes and within the community.
  • Deliver resettlement and outreach work and assist clients in accessing opportunities in employment, education and leisure.
  • Offer advice, information, advocacy and support through the Service’s Drop In.
  • Work as part of a team, receiving induction, supervision and training.

Essential Requirement

Candidate must be male, as this is a genuine occupational requirement pursuant to the Equality Act 2010 (Schedule 9, Part 1).
