The role will be central to delivering the Council's commitment to safe, decent and well-maintained homes, supporting the ambitions set out within the Asset Management Strategy and helping ensure compliance with an increasingly demanding regulatory framework including the Building Safety Act and consumer standards. You will influence senior decision-making, drive continuous improvement and help embed a positive safety culture across a large and complex housing service.
Enfield is a large local authority landlord, managing a substantial housing portfolio and delivering an ambitious programme of investment in homes, building safety and compliance. A recognised Level 6 health and safety qualification together with professional membership of IOSH or an equivalent professional body is essential. Experience of social housing, landlord compliance, construction or property services would be particularly valuable.
In return, we offer the opportunity to lead a high-profile service that makes a real difference to residents' lives.
