To work with Enfield Council and its stakeholders, you are committed to ensuring that parks and open spaces in the Borough are attractive, clean, safe, and welcoming. You are confident in maintaining and managing healthy tree stock across the borough's country and urban parks. Ideally, you bring relevant experience and a set of qualifications, although not all are essential.
This role involves collaborating with contractors, partners, and users to maintain the aesthetics and safety of Enfield's parks and open spaces. You are responsible for handling diverse tree management tasks, requiring driving and towing expertise.
The position pays £16.79 paye day 1.
- Driving and towing experience
- Chainsaw maintenance (CS30.1)
- Cross-cutting and stacking timber with chainsaw (CS30.2)
- Felling and processing small trees (CS31)
- Aerial rescue operations (CS38)
- Tree management legislation and practice
- Full Driving Licence with C1 / C1E / BE entitlement
- Experience as a tree surgery specialist
- Chainsaw use from a rope and harness (CS39)
