The predicted salary is between 35000 - 49000 £ per year.

To work with Enfield Council and its stakeholders (contractors, partners and users) to ensure the parks and other open spaces throughout the Borough are attractive, clean, safe and welcoming at all times. To maintain and mange a healthy tree stock across the boroughs country parks, urban parks and open spaces.

The candidate will be required to show they have driving and towing experience and ideally the following qualifications but all are not necessarily essential:
1. Qualified and experienced to carry out chainsaw maintenance i.e. CS30.1 – Chainsaw Maintenance.
2. Qualified and experienced to use chainsaw to cross-cut and stack timber i.e. CS30.2 – Cross-cut and stack small diameter using chainsaw.
3. Qualified and experienced in felling and processing small trees i.e. CS31 – Fell and Process small trees.
4. Qualified and experienced to perform aerial rescues i.e. CS38 – Climb Trees and Perform Aerial Rescue.
5. Ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation, codes of practice and procedures relating to the management of trees.
6. Full Driving Licence with C1 / C1E / BE entitlement
7. Significant practical experience working as a tree surgery specialist.
8. Qualified and experienced in use of a chainsaw from a rope and harness at height i.e. CS39 – Use a chainsaw from rope and harness.
Desirable:
1. First aid
2. Lantra/City & Guilds – Stump Grinding operations
3. Lantra/City & Guilds – Wood Chipper operations
4. MEWP & Chainsaw use in MEWP
5. City & Guilds – Street works Signing Lighting and Guarding
6. PA1 & PA6 Safe Use of Pesticides

This role will pay £16.79 paye day 1
