Based at Forty Hall Estate, Enfield, EN2 9HA, the Forty Hall Deputy Supervisor provides operational and event management within the busy heritage and cultural venue, working with a small dedicated and enthusiastic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in heritage, hospitality and event management, ensuring the smooth running of our year‑round programme of events and day‑to‑day activities. The programme includes weddings, conferences, community festivals, concerts, workshops and school sessions.
The successful candidate will be customer‑focused, efficient with an eye to detail and adept with IT booking systems. You will also be comfortable undertaking manual tasks such as room set‑up and emergency cleaning. The position requires a commitment to meet income targets through the hire of our beautiful building. We seek someone with a strong track record of delivering exceptional visitor and customer experience within a heritage, arts or cultural venue. Extensive experience in these sectors is required; without this experience we cannot consider you for the role.
Contract Details
- Hours: 21.6 per week, Friday – Sunday (includes regular weekend, evening and Bank Holiday work)
- Overtime: No additional payment, however Time Off in Lieu (TOIL) can be arranged
