Salary: £27,313 (£14.16 per hour) + van, fuel card, all PPE and test equipment provided.
Working Pattern: Temporary Role | Full Time | 37 Hours a week
What will I be doing in this role?
- Undertake electrical compliance works, primarily electrical equipment testing but may also be required to undertake emergency lighting testing.
- Assist in various other electrical compliance works, following customer’s scope, specification and instruction, as well as guidance and instructions from Project Managers/Technicians in a safe and timely manner and to a high quality standard.
- Carry out electrical equipment testing without immediate supervision in a safe, efficient and economical manner.
- Liaise with Clients, sub-contractors and suppliers as required.
What do I need to be successful in the role?
- Must have obtained a City and Guilds 2377 inspection and testing of electrical equipment certificate or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of industry best practice and regulations (e.g. safety and electrical regulations).
- Understanding of safe behaviours on sites to drive a positive safety culture.
- Good communication skills.
- Good time management.
- Ability to work in a team/be a team player.
- Ability to work under pressure on projects.
- Have good attention to detail.
- Ability to deliver works to a high quality standard.
- Structured and logical problem solving on site projects.
