Base Location: Newquay
Salary: From £24,336 - £27,011 depending on skills and experience and working hours - Time Incentive Management (TIM) Bonus Scheme, Call out payments plus a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 8am-4pm. Overtime available for those who want it.

What will I be doing in this role?
- Replacing or installing new street lighting apparatus and furniture, including street light columns, signposts or traffic signal poles.
- Operating a Hiab crane to load and unload materials.
- Excavating and re-instating the highway to streetworks specifications.
- Completing on-site risk assessments and setting up traffic management for the site.
- Ensuring we deliver outstanding service to our clients and the general public.
- Working to strict safety guidelines and regulations.
What do I need to be successful in the role?
- Be happy working outdoors all year round.
- Have a full UK Driving Licence as we cover a wide range of locations.
- Be able to operate plant and machinery safely.
- Have a background in working in Civils.
- Be willing to participate in the on-call rota to attend emergencies out of hours.
- Able to use a hand-held tablet to receive jobs and log repair reports.

- Experience in public lighting, highways maintenance, or infrastructure works.
- Hiab crane training.
- HGV Licence.
- Understanding of electrical safety on site.
- Streetworks qualifications.
