At Enertis Applus+, we are looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to join our UK Consultancy team, reporting directly to the Head of Consultancy UK. In this role, you will lead multidisciplinary technical advisory projects across the full lifecycle of renewable energy developments, acting as a trusted advisor to developers, investors, lenders and other key stakeholders. You will provide technical leadership in solar PV, wind, BESS and hybrid projects, ensuring high-quality delivery while supporting business growth and client relationships.
What will you do?
- Lead multidisciplinary technical advisory projects from development through financing and construction.
- Act as the main technical point of contact for clients, managing relationships and project delivery.
- Coordinate technical due diligence assignments for renewable energy projects.
- Review energy yield assessments, technical designs and project documentation.
- Advise clients on technical risks, mitigation measures and project optimisation.
- Oversee project scope, schedule, budget and resource allocation.
- Support procurement processes, contractor selection and contract negotiations.
- Provide technical oversight during construction, commissioning and project handover.
- Ensure quality, consistency and technical excellence across all project deliverables.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to business development, proposals and client presentations.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or a related discipline (Master's degree is a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in renewable energy consultancy, engineering or technical project management.
- Strong technical knowledge of utility‑scale Solar PV, Wind, BESS or hybrid energy systems.
- Experience leading technical due diligence, engineering reviews or owner's engineering assignments.
- Solid understanding of the full renewable project lifecycle, from development to construction.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and multiple client‑facing projects.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and commercial awareness.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard engineering/project management tools.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
