The Project Product Assurance (PA) Engineer is responsible for product assurance requirements on assigned space projects. The Project Product Assurance Engineer will work with a dedicated Project PA Manager and colleagues from other disciplines (e.g., Project Management, Project Engineer, MAIT) and will support production of documentation and hardware.
The role supports the Project Product Assurance Manager for the assigned project(s):
- Responsible for on time and on quality Product Assurance activities delivered within EnerSys ABSL.
- Responsible for supporting prevention, investigation and resolution of non-conformances on assigned projects.
- Responsible for the production of project documentation to meet internal PA requirements (e.g. NCRs, EIDPs, Inspection Reports).
- Responsible for in-build and in-test inspection points and sign-off of associated reports or checkpoints.
- Responsible for the production of specialist Product Assurance analysis and documentation (PM&P, EEE, RAMS, Safety) as agreed with the Project PA Manager.
- Experience producing inspection documentation (to be developed as part of the role).
- An understanding of configuration control principles and associated project documentation.
- A keen interest in working on space projects.
- A commitment to accurate reporting and root cause analysis of problems.
- A desire to be responsible for product quality and mission risk reduction in accordance with customer specifications.
- An ability to work in a multi-project environment; the ability to support team members working on multiple projects.
- Strong skills with MS Office / Office 365 suite of programmes.
