Job Purpose
The Senior Compensation Analyst - EMEA & APAC plays a key role in the management and administration of the company’s regional compensation programs. This position focuses on short-term and long-term incentive plan management, annual merit cycles for EMEA and APAC, and market pricing to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices across diverse geographies. The Senior Compensation Analyst partners closely with HR Business Partners, Regional HR Directors, and the Global Compensation Manager to deliver data-driven insights and ensure regional alignment with corporate compensation strategy, governance, and compliance standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Incentive Compensation Management
- Administer and support short-term and long-term incentive programs, including annual bonus and equity cycles for the EMEA and APAC regions.
- Conduct modeling, forecasting, and analysis of incentive plan outcomes and provide recommendations to improve program effectiveness and market competitiveness.
- Ensure incentive calculations and payments are accurate, compliant, and aligned with corporate policies and local regulations.
- Collaborate with Finance, HRIS, and Payroll to ensure seamless administration of incentive processes across multiple countries and currencies.
- Annual Merit & Salary Planning
- Lead the execution of the annual merit and salary review processes for EMEA and APAC.
- Partner with regional HR and the HRIS team to ensure accurate data preparation, adherence to compensation guidelines, and timely system readiness.
- Analyze merit outcomes, identify trends or risks, and provide recommendations to enhance pay-for-performance alignment and regional consistency.
- Market Pricing & Job Architecture
- Conduct comprehensive market analyses for EMEA and APAC using regional salary surveys and benchmarking tools to ensure competitive pay practices.
- Evaluate new and existing positions to ensure appropriate alignment within the company’s global job architecture and compensation structure.
- Lead the annual review and update of regional salary ranges based on market data, internal equity, and business needs, ensuring ranges remain competitive and compliant.
- Provide consultative guidance on job leveling, career frameworks, and pay equity across multiple markets within the regions.
- Monitor local labor market trends and regulatory changes to maintain compliance and competitive positioning.
- Ad-Hoc Compensation Projects
- Lead or support regional and global compensation projects such as pay transparency initiatives, compensation harmonization following acquisitions, and updates to compensation governance and policy.
- Prepare analytical reports, dashboards, and insights to support HR and business leaders in strategic workforce and reward decisions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of compensation tools, processes, and systems to enhance efficiency and consistency across regions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree or CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of experience in compensation analysis or related HR function, with a strong focus on EMEA and/or APAC markets.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors).
- Experience with market pricing tools and regional salary surveys (e.g., Payscale, Mercer, WTW, Korn Ferry).
- Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities with the ability to interpret data across diverse markets.
- Competencies:
- Deep understanding of regional compensation practices and cultural nuances across EMEA and APAC.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to partner effectively across time zones and business units.
- High attention to detail, discretion, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
