Job Purpose
The Lead Compliance Engineer will drive product certification and regulatory compliance for EnerSys’ battery systems. This role oversees validation planning, coordinates with UL/Intertek/CSA and internal engineering teams, manages cross-functional efforts, and ensures all testing, documentation, and changes meet regulatory, certification, and customer requirements. The position requires expertise in Li-Ion technology, relevant safety and test standards (UL, IEC, UN38.3), and proven experience delivering results in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, team leadership, and safety awareness are essential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Create validation plans to ensure all regulatory, certification, customer and internal requirements are met for a product.
- Work with UL/Intertek/CSA to achieve Listings and Recognitions.
