We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team onsite in Cramlington on a full time permanent basis. In this role you will prepare domestic and international shipments in accordance with shipping requirements and specifications. You will:

  • Pick and assemble, check orders, pack and crate orders, as well as attach or stencil shipping instructions.
  • Check quantity, type, size, part numbers, dimensions, etc. to properly identify materials.
  • Receive incoming goods, verify accuracy against documentation, and properly store materials in designated locations.
  • Maintain records and prepare shipping reports.
  • Help load and unload trucks as needed.

Shift: Monday – Thursday 08:30am to 05:00pm, Friday 08:30am to 04:30pm.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Fulfil and satisfy HTUK Rental Ops Equipment rental orders as needed and maintain equipment fleet availability levels.
  • Function test other equipment, i.e. pumps, torquing equipment, RSL’s, hoses etc.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections within Hydratight ERP system Oracle.
  • Manage repair part stock levels within area required as well as initiating purchase requisitions as needed for customer approved repair parts.
  • Update inventory systems by means of daily cycle counts and yearly stock takes.
  • Accurately pick items for shipping based on pick slips, verify product codes, quantities, and quality before packing.
  • Securely pack items using appropriate materials to prevent damage, by means of assembling wooden or cardboard containers or selecting preassembled containers.
  • Prepare shipments according to the company carrier requirements, generate and attach shipping labels, invoices, and necessary documents.
  • Coordinate with carriers for timely pickups and deliveries.
  • Meet with 3rd Party Inspectors as and when required to complete inspection paperwork.
  • Ensure all shipments meet quality standards before dispatch and load goods onto trucks or pallets safely.
  • Follow company policies for handling hazardous goods.
  • Keep the workspace clean, organized and free from hazards.
  • Check and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
  • Support other departments as needed.
  • Ensure all HSSEQ rules and regulations are communicated and enforced throughout the organization.
  • Proactively participate in safety awareness and improvement.
  • Report safety observations, both positive and negative.
  • Carry out driving duties in accordance with the Company’s requirements.
  • If required, will possibly need to pass fork lift training.
