As an Account Executive at Hotwire, you will implement day-to-day communications activities, carrying out campaign execution and administration for B2B client accounts and projects. You and your fellow executives will be the engine of client campaigns, driving activities with determination and enthusiasm to deliver impactful results for your clients and make your team shine.
Job Description Accountabilities:
- Media Mastery: Understand the media landscape, continuously learning to bring great value to your team and clients. Craft and build your understanding of what makes a great story and how to tell it.
- Industry Awareness: Be the eyes and ears of your clients’ industries, ensuring your account teams are up to speed on sector developments.
- Portfolio Management: Work across a portfolio of 4-6 B2B clients, generating results, meeting deadlines, and developing relationships with clients and the media.
- Time Management: Be an expert at delivering work on different campaigns with different teams, showcasing impeccable time management skills.
- Media Engagement: Generate results by pitching client stories to journalists and influencers. Arrange and staff media interviews and events.
- Content Creation: Write content for various purposes, including pitches, press releases, blog entries, feature articles, and case studies.
- Client Support: Develop client call agendas, take detailed notes, and map out action items post-call. Assist with clients’ social media accounts and deliver analytics reports.
- Creative Contribution: Participate in team brainstorms to create new ideas for campaigns.
- Communication: Use your impeccable communication skills to work effectively with clients, journalists, and colleagues.
- Team Support: Support your team by looking for opportunities to get involved in ad hoc duties.
Qualifications:
- An A-level education or higher, with around 1 year’s work experience.
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
- An understanding and passion for technology and how it shapes our society.
- A strong ability to spot connections between trends, stories, and brands.
- A real love for media. You’ll consume newspapers, blogs, and content in your personal and work life, reading widely.
- A can-do attitude, knowing that no job is too big or too small.
