EnerMech are looking to hire Trainee Field Technicians to join our Process Services business line as a result of our ongoing growth. The Trainee Field Technician role aims to take individuals with an enthusiasm for mechanical processes and give them training and work experience so they can progress to fully competent, multi-disciplined team members performing works independently within our field teams.
This role would be ideal for someone who is a newly qualified Machinist with a keen interest in mechanical processes. You will be given training and experience in On-site Machining and Bolting activities, and then exposure to leak testing, pressure testing, P&AID and isometric drawings as well as fitting and pump maintenance. You will be participating in all safety-related activities to ensure all work is conducted safely and effectively. You will assist with planned and unplanned maintenance programmes to guarantee the highest possible standard for tasks given. Some days may be spent at our Aberdeen site helping with maintenance and function testing of the equipment.

To be successful for this role you will be a newly qualified CNC/Machinist and have a safety-first approach and hold good basic IT skills. You will ideally be looking for a start in a new career offshore where working away from home fits around your current circumstances. We are looking for driven candidates who are looking for a step into the offshore industry and are keen to learn and develop. Due to there being some on-site training as part of the programme, we are ideally looking for candidates local to Aberdeen or from a commutable distance daily.
