The Role and Responsibilities
Due to an internal promotion we are excited to be hiring for a new IT Project Delivery Manager, working as a key part of our Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) team. You will oversee the delivery of a portfolio of technology projects with a strong emphasis on ERP-related initiatives. The role ensures strategic alignment, stakeholder engagement, and governance across all projects. You will also own the reporting framework for EBS initiatives and support the operational execution and strategic planning needs of the Business Applications function.
The ideal candidate is based within commuting distance to Aberdeen to allow for office-based work as required.
The Requirements
Experience working at a lead or senior role within IT project management is crucial along with a focus on ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics NAV, though experience with other modern ERP platforms is also valued. You should be able to demonstrate experience managing cross-functional teams across different geographies and have a strong command of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies. We would like to see proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Monday.com.
You should have experience in managing a portfolio of projects varying in size and complexity combined with a hands-on approach. Strong communication skills is key, being able to communicate effectively at all levels including the senior leadership team.
You may have recognised project management certification but this is not essential.
