EnerMech are looking to recruit an MOD Hose Inspector/Installer to be based on site on a permanent basis. The role will be based in either Plymouth or Portsmouth to work on the MOD docked vessels, however some travel between the two sites will be expected. You will be tasked with carrying out on site surveys of Flexible Hose Assemblies on the MOD vessels and visually inspect the hoses/fittings whilst in line with procedures.
Other main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Identify hose types, fittings and condition, in line with procedures
- Tag and register Hoses
- Completion of Hose registers and reports accurately and on a timely basis
- Hose Assembly and pressure testing
- Ensure all work areas are maintained and hazard free at all times
To be successful for this position you will have proven work experience in the manufacture and/or inspection of flexible hoses, being able to demonstrate knowledge of the inspection and testing of the hoses. You will have the ability to use Microsoft office programs to generate reports and registers.
