The Role and Responsibilities
A permanent opportunity has arisen within our Cranes and Lifting department for a Crane Operator Electrician to work offshore on a 2/3 rotational basis. You will be tasked with carrying out first line maintenance up to and including 6 monthly planned maintenance routines and maintaining electrical equipment. Additionally you will operate the crane for installation and vessel lifts within crane design envelope, taking into consideration prevailing weather.
It would be expected that a safe and comprehensive shift handover is conducted and recorded. You must also have a good understanding of the Management of Change and permit processes.
The Requirements
To be successful for the position it is essential you hold aStage III Offshore Crane Operator Certificate and subsequent Stage III assessments. Holding a recognised apprenticeship or electrical qualification is required.
