The Role and Responsibilities
- EnerMech are currently looking for a Lifting Equipment Technician to join our busy Rigging & Lifting workshop in Aberdeen. This is a permanent onshore role within our Equipment Rental Business Line. Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for the service, repair & test of rigging & lifting equipment and to assist in carrying out the inspection, and recertification of company owned and client equipment.
- Responsible for inspection, service, repair & test of all rigging & lifting equipment in accordant with in-house procedures, LOLER Regulations and authority matrix.
- Responsible for examination of new lifting accessories and unique identification number prior to supply.
- Responsible for performing function tests & loads tests as required.
- Responsible for providing support for other workshop staff as required.
- Responsible for ensuring workshop is kept clean & tidy and all company equipment is kept in good order.
The Requirements
- To be successful for this position you will have previous experience in a mechanical role.
- You will ideally have experience with the inspection, service, repair & test of all rigging & lifting equipment and have good knowledge & understanding of LOLER Regulations and LEEA Guidelines.
- Air Hoist experience is preferred but not essential.
