We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Workshop Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team at Enerion Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing refurbishments, mechanical maintenance, repairs, new build manufacturing projects and workshop operations. This is a workshop-based role but not limited to.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery of mechanical repair, maintenance, and overhaul activities within the workshop on oilfield topside equipment
- Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective engineering solutions
- Interpret engineering drawings, manuals, and technical specifications
- Lead projects and ensure work is completed to required standards
- Plan and coordinate your own daily workshop jobs to meet operational deadlines
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and technical reports
- Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives
Requirements
- Time served or degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Proven experience in a workshop or maintenance engineering environment
- Strong knowledge of oil field equipment, mechanical systems, hydraulics, and rotating equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot and work hands-on within a team or on your own
- Good communication and leadership mindset focus
