This role involves the delivery of specialist OHL construction services, working as part of a team to deliver against our client requirements. Additionally, someone who is a proactive leader, taking responsibility for the Site Management and Supervision of the works and any supporting site investigations which would ordinarily be provided by a sub-contractor, such as Boreholes or Trial Pitting.
The position demands a flexible work pattern, this involves some working away from home in various UK locations and occasional weekend working.
Hours: Full-time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week)

Role specific responsibilities:- Carrying out of Post Construction Inspections (PCI)
- Carrying out of Tower Condition Surveys (TCS)
- Cormon Conductor Testing
- Tower Painting QA
- Visual Helicopter Assessments
- Carrying out pre-construction Engineering Walkthrough Surveys (EWS)
- Intrusive Foundation Inspections (IFI)
- Preparation / sign off of RAMS, Construction Phase Plans, Traffic Management Plans, Emergency Response Plans and all other relevant H&S documentation in accordance with company and client requirements.
- Liaising with the client, landowners, third parties and the public as works are multi sites along a linear overhead line route
- Undertaking site safety inspections/ audits/ supervision and providing safety support on site.
- A background in the electricity supply industry would be preferred, including experience on OHL construction and/or maintenance and supervision of site works.
- Working at height experience would also be a benefit.
- Applicants should have a minimum of 5 GCSE’s or other equivalent vocational qualifications – Where suitable experience, training and competence can be demonstrated this will also be considered.
- Current UK DNO authorisations, BESC or National Grid authorisations would be desirable but not required.
- CSCS and SSSTS / SMSTS required.
- You must also hold a full and valid UK driving license.
