Our client, a fast growing and well backed business, supporting and building the growth of alternative energy in the UK, is looking for a standout Commercial Finance Director.
Working in close partnership with the Managing Director and senior leadership team, this is a pivotal position that blends commercial support and insight, strategic financial leadership and hands-on operational oversight to help drive the company’s ambitious growth plans.
As a trusted financial and commercial adviser, the CFD will shape and execute the organisation’s financial strategy in line with its growth and increasing complexity, oversee project finance and funding structures, lead financial modelling, and ensure robust financial governance.
Your expertise will be central to enhancing commercial and financial performance to enable the successful delivery of the company’s long-term vision, working closely with a number of investors and key stakeholders.
The successful candidate will need to be a qualified accountant with a background in the energy sector. Knowledge and experience of large capital projects and Purchase Power Agreements (PPAs) would be beneficial.
