About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Quality Engineer to support on-site QA/QC activities at Pembroke Power Station. This role is embedded within the client project team and will focus on inspecting and monitoring electrical works to ensure compliance with specifications, UK regulations, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily surveillance of electrical works, promptly notifying the client Site Manager when:
  • Progress falls behind schedule
  • Work deviates from specifications, UK regulations, or best practice
  • Witness contractor quality checks in line with Site Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
  • Sign off contractor quality documentation on behalf of the client, following successful inspections
  • Record punch-list items, submitting them only to the client Site Manager via the approved template
  • Strictly avoid issuing punch-lists or reports directly to contractors or subcontractors
  • Mandatory Requirements

    • Valid CCNSG Safety Passport
    • Proven QA/QC experience in major electrical installations
    • Strong understanding of inspection documentation and client-side protocols
    • Ability to work efficiently in a regulated, high-safety environment
