Our client, an esteemed player in the renewables sector, is currently seeking a dedicated Cable Jointer to join their team. This permanent position involves UK-wide travel and focuses on I&C and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects within the connections team.
They would also consider a Jointers Mate with the machine tickets who is looking to progress his career within High Voltage
Key Responsibilities:
- Executing cable jointing at both 11kv or 33kv levels
- Operating excavators (CPCS OR NPORS)
- Ensuring the safe and efficient jointing of cables across various renewables projects
- Maintaining adherence to health and safety standards on-site
- Collaborating with project teams to ensure timely and effective project delivery
- Travelling to different project sites across the UK as required
Job Requirements:
- Trained in cable jointing at 11kv or 33kv
- Certified as an Excavator or Dumper Driver
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to cable jointing
- Ability to travel across the UK
