  • Perform energy usage analysis based on HH data or obtained real-time data to assist in understanding the optimal design and specification.
  • Develop and optimise system layouts and configurations using specialised design software (e.g., Open Solar, Sketch-up, PVsol, Helioscope, AutoCAD, and/or similar tools).
  • Ensure that all designs comply with regulations, and industry standards.
  • Calculate energy yields, perform shading analysis, and assess system performance based on site-specific conditions.
  • Advise on suitability and sizing of ESS systems to complement solar PV systems specific to individual client projects.
  • Collaborate with project manager, departmental support staff, Head of Department, sub-contractors, and installation teams to verify and ensure the smooth execution of designs.
  • Conduct system electrical and mechanical design, including equipment sizing, wiring, protection devices, and interconnection.
  • Provide technical support and training to installation and commissioning teams.

  • Review and validate quotes to ensure they align with project budgets and technical requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, reports, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues during system implementation or operation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and government regulations related to solar PV systems.
